My Story
Founder, Roslyn Evans-Nwokocha, founded Class & Crowns in 2015 (United States based). After becoming a teacher for the Henry County Public School System, Evans realized that her experience, talent and educational achievements were needed among the young ladies. So, Evans set out to see how she could make a difference; pondering on what she could do that has never been done, or how could she enhance or streamline efforts that may already exist. Since the inception of Class & Crowns, Inc. (United States based) upon visiting Abuja, Nigeria Evans found that there was an equal need there too. So, she sat out to open an NGO in Abuja, Nigeria. Currently, along with her team who's ready to serve and lead with excellence, Evans is aiming to operate an effective NGO that supports and assist at risk and under privilege girls ages 5 to 25 years of age.

Evans Biography
Recently, Evans joined the dynamic "Lions" team at Luella High School and was previously at Hampton High School for 9 years a place where Evans felt right at home by being able to stimulate the minds of youth and encourage them to push towards their dreams and goals.
Though Evans is from a small town just (54) miles South of Tallahassee, Florida, called "Perry, Florida." she has always had a big heart for the young and the elderly. Evans has been a Henry County residence since June 2005, after being a civic supporter of the United States Armed Forces as a formal military wife (Navy) for more than 20 years.
Evans feels she knows first-hand at being a supporter, mentor, educator and mother--for she has been given the most precious gift ever--to be the mother of four beautiful children Herbreka- (37), Johnathan-(35), Jeremy- (32), and Jasiyah- (15). and twelve grandchildren.
Evans states that throughout her life, she has had the opportunity to embark on a number of careers while serving alongside her formal spouse during his military tenure. Currently, Evans is the Public Safety teacher at Hampton High School, and on her off time, she works as film producer, singer, professional actress, and screenplay writer. Evans has been a working actress for the last 15 years with some of the biggest names in the industry including Alfre Woodard in American Violet, Tyler Perry (House of Payne), Charles Dutton, Janet Jackson and Greg Alan Williams just to name a few; as well as the opportunity to acquire and gain both experience and education in the Criminal Justice field.
Within the past two years, Evans decided to return to college to undergo studies in obtaining a law degree with a concentration in entertainment/corporate law, but soon switched gears to move forward on acquiring a PhD instead. In addition, to the countless efforts to make her mark on the “Big Screen” she also holds a master's degree in business administration (MBA), master's degree of Science in Administration of Justice and Security, and bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a Minor in Sociology.
Other accomplishments consist of being a former Federal Police Officer for the Department of Defense, Correctional Officer for Florida Department of Corrections, former United States Postal worker, and currently serve as the Executive Director for her own production company PLUM Tree Productions, and private instructor for her acting studio-Wings for Dreams (private lessons), Executive Director of 21st Logistics LLC (trucking company) as well as consultant for RDE Business Resource.
Though those are great accomplishments, Evans says the greatest accomplishment is being able to take every bit of her education and experience and use it motivate, and influence youth; to help students realize their potential and providing the skill set to assist in positioning their journey, so, they can jump into their destiny.
Evans says her focus is on stimulating our youth intellect, to nurture their creative potential, to create a unique environment in which students have the ability to experience, to imagine, visualize, to create a pathway to their destiny.

Idea behind creation of Class & Crowns, Inc.
Evans desire to create and develop Class & Crowns, Inc. (United States based) was due to the overwhelming response and need for role models in Hampton, a rural and underserved community in the State of Georgia. Since the inception of Class & Crowns, Inc., upon Evans visit to Abuja, Nigeria she quickly discovered the same need in Africa. So, she decided to branch and create Roslyn Nwokocha She Speaks Girlchild Foundation.
